A new edition of eCommerce Day beat attendance record in Buenos Aires

More than 3,000 people gathered in the 10th edition of the Latin American event. Fizzmod agency achieved the “Best Online Marketing Agency for eCommerce”.

Last August 11th, a new edition of eCommerce Day was celebrated in Buenos Aires city. A regional initiative of eCommerce Institute co-organized locally by the Argentinian Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CACE) -institution that presented the eCommerce study of the first semester 2016.

“During the first semester of 2016, $171.000 pesos per minute were sold. This turnover volume represents a growing of 60% compared to the same period last year and, if we add up that users’ satisfaction levels outnumbers 95%, we must be more than satisfied with the industry’s performance”, explained Gustavo Sambucetti, President of the Argentinian Chamber of Electronic Commerce.

As a novelty this year, the first eCommerce IT Camp was carried out. An exclusive event for developers and technical or system profiled professionals, oriented to the digital industry, which called for more than 200 professionals in the sector. “This segment has been professionalizing year by year with a high demand for qualified profiles, which has driven us to carry out this workday and raise awareness about the importance of technological education applied to online business”, said Diego Urfeig, Executive Director of CACE.

On its side, Fizzmod -the eCommerce products and services developer agency- gave a talk for attendees on how to bring intelligence to data and the importance of the metrics in this industry. Francisco Mato, Director of the company, was in charge of the conference and he shared the stage with Matías Bras Harriott (“Pet”), Digital Director of Ricky Sarkany, and Virginia López from VTEX, as chairperson.

In addition, Fizzmod received the recognition of “Best Online Marketing Agency for eCommerce”, as part of the list of companies awarded by a select international jury for their contribution to the Electronic Commerce and Online Business industry.
