Fizzmod took part in the first VTEX Training Day in Argentina

The eCommerce innovative products and services development agency participated in the first training session organized by the Brazilian multinational VTEX.

Fizzmod company was a sponsor at VTEX Training Day held for the first time in Argentina. The agency, VTEX’s strategic partner joined in at the Alvear Icon Hotel in Buenos Aires City last Tuesday, March 19th, in order to attend the various training programs at the different conference rooms: Sales, Solution Architect, eCommerce Manager and Developer.

Mariano Gomide de Faria, VTEX founder and co-CEO and one of the leading figures from the Brazilian firm, was among the outstanding personalities present at the event.

Gomide de Faria started the company in 2000 together with Geraldo Thomaz. He’s currently co-CEO and responsible of European and Asian markets. The executive was in charge of several sessions during the Training Day and he even participated in a Live Boot Camp that challenged three important agencies in the field: Brandlive, Lyracons and Fizzmod.

The exhibition put the companies to the test regarding an actual case: Starbucks Argentina. The theme was “how to design Starbucks’ integration strategy into the electronic commerce market”. The agencies laid out their digital proposals for the famous American chain, which is starting to explore the eCommerce field after their launching of 144 physical stores in the said South American country.

Along with the Boot Camp held at the Sales conference room in the afternoon, the attendees could benefit from more comprehensive sessions related to an eCommerce management, sales strategies and development, among other key issues that were assessed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

VTEX Training Day, together with the most outstanding Electronic Commerce leaders in the country and the region, strive to enhance business results among the participating companies, apart from offering professional training and aiming to expand the ecosystem and human capital throughout the field.
