The online sale mega-event organized by CACE computed 1.58 million transactions during the first three days, with a total turnover of $5,196 million pesos.
This year CyberMonday’s edition reached 2.5 million users to enter the official website searching for offers and special discounts. During the first three days, 1.58 transactions were recorded, which means a $5,196 million pesos turnover.
This means that, in comparison to 2016 edition, there was a 66% growth of sales revenue and the transactions increased by 56%, widely exceeding the expectations.
Most popular items among customers
The average purchase receipt amounted to $3,290. Top 5 categories with most sales were:
- Food
- Beverages
- Clothing and accesories
- Footwear (non-sporting)
- Furniture
In terms of turnover, the 5 leading were:
- Airplane tickets
- Televisions
- Airconditioning
- Mobile technology devices
- Tourist packages
“Once again, the event exceeded our expectations, not only in terms of revenue but also in users’ involvement who have been able to benefit from offers in travel and clothes to brand new cars”, said Gustavo Sambucetti, CACE President.
He added: “These events help boost the digital economy growth and strengthen the link between companies and their clients. We are very happy to see how we improve and surpass our own records in each edition”
