The 9th edition of eCommerce Day Santiago, conducted on 27th April in Centro Parque, welcomed more than 2.600 attendees who were trained on the latest trends about online business. Additionally, the eCommerce Awards were handed out to highlight the work of Chilean companies regarding their impact on digital economy.
The Latin-American eCommerce Day Tour reached its 61° edition of events providing training sessions, networking and online business professional update in the 12 countries where it is carried out.
The ninth edition of eCommerce Day Santiago 2017, organized by the eCommerce Institute together with the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (SCC), took place in Centro Parque on April 27, where more than 2.600 attendees and 70 speakers gathered to debate about the present and future of eCommerce in Chile and the region.
Fizzmod, eCommerce products and services oriented company, made a noteworthy participation as a speaker. Francisco Mato, director of the agency, gave a comprehensive talk on how to develop an online store. He also featured some successful cases within the company, mentioning the online shops of Jumbo (Colombia) and Rosen (Chile).
2,400 people online –nationally and internationally– enjoyed the streaming of the event.
At the opening of eCommerce Day 2017, Rodrigo Mujica, Corporate Services and International Affairs Manager for Santiago Chamber of Commerce, emphasized on the 20% annual growth of eCommerce in Chile, as well as their aspiration to reach 5 thousand million dollars in online countrywide sales in the next five years.
Fizzmod subsidiary in Santiago, was an eCommerce Award finalist for the second consecutive year in the category “Best Online Marketing Agency”.
