Cloud Commerce platform confirms the growing trend that SaaS MultiUser technologies are strengthening digital trade industry.
VTEX, the Cloud Commerce platform, has become one of the new players of Gartner Magic Quadrant 2017, according to data published by the world leading company in information technology research and advisory. This means that the newest member is now a direct competitor to Salesforce, Oracle, IBM, SAP Hybris and Magento, among other firms. This achievement comes along with the company’s continued global expansion.
The name VTEX stands for innovation and the firm has always been at the cutting edge of global standards in the ecommerce industry. An example of this is its SmartCheckout functionality, a patented technology focused on increasing the conversion rates with a single-webpage payment experience, without clicks, without password.
The company credits its rapid success to the ongoing maintenance and dynamism, which allows them to completely balance a diversity of clients’ needs to consistently provide unified experiences. This agility, combined with a continuously updated technology, enabled VTEX platform to deliver more than 8.000 implementations and updates in 2016.
Last year, the company launched operations in the USA and Europe, with new offices in Miami, London and Madrid, thus increasing VTEX global presence to 11 branches in 10 countries. The firm has strongly invested in a partnership program through which it built and cultivated business relationships with a variety of enterprises –from a wide range of fields- across the industry. With more than 1.000 partners in the world, from implementation companies (Sls) to payment gateways and marketplaces, VTEX is proud to offer the advantages of this business ecosystem to all its clients.
VTEX has more than 17 years of experience in the eCommerce field and its presence in the market includes more than 2,000 online shops in 20 countries. The VTEX platform is now used by 40% of the leading brands in the world such as Sony, Whirlpool, C&A, Walmart and Coca-Cola, among others.
“This recognition marks another milestone in the consistent progress of our company, as it indicates we are on the right track. Our team is extremely proud and motivated to continue implementing disruptive technologies that better serve the brands and retailers,” said Mariano Gomide de Faria, VTEX co-CEO.
VTEX challenges conventional logic since it started its journey through emerging markets. “Being well developed and integrated, just like being successful in adverse markets, were a plus. Together with the unique resilience and breadth of VTEX platform that can’t be found in any other Cloud Commerce platform. This evolution strengthened the ability of our solution to meet the commercial needs of more than 50 countries. Now, we can compete on a level playing field of global platforms as Salesforce, Oracle, IBM, SAP Hybris y Magento”, added Alexandre Soncini, Managing Director at VTEX North America.
